Partial Dog Grooming in Southwest Ranches
Your dog’s haircut still looks good, but the hair around the eyes and those scruffy feet need attention. Coco’s comes to your Southwest Ranches driveway for a bath and light face-and-feet tidy-up, with one groomer handling the visit. Your dog gets warm-water bathing, hand drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, toothbrushing and sanitary care. We tidy the agreed areas while keeping the main body coat at its current length.

What happens in the van
Tell us which areas need tidying and what you want left long. That gives your groomer a clear starting point before the appointment.
1. Agree on what stays long
We confirm the areas around the face and feet you want tidied and the body-coat length you want to keep.
2. Check and prepare the coat
We assess tangles, matting and packed undercoat while preparing the coat for bathing. We confirm the work and price, including any additional coat care, before starting.
3. A warm bath
Your dog gets a warm, filtered-water bath using TropiClean shampoo chosen for the coat. We work the shampoo through and rinse it out thoroughly.
4. Towel-dry and hand blow-dry
We towel-dry first, then hand blow-dry and brush out the coat. Your groomer uses a low-noise dryer, checks the air temperature with their own hand and stays with your dog throughout drying. No cage dryers.
5. Take care of hygiene
We trim the nails, clean the ears, brush the teeth with enzymatic paste and provide a light sanitary trim. Gland expression is available on request.
6. Tidy the agreed areas
We finish the light trimming around the face and feet while preserving the main body-coat length. If you want the body shortened, that requires Full Dog Grooming.
When to choose a partial groom
Book Partial Grooming when the body coat is still at a length you like, but the face and feet need tidying. It can be a useful appointment between full haircuts because the bath and hygiene care are included.
Before booking, describe what you want trimmed. If you want the body shorter or an all-over haircut, choose Full Dog Grooming so the appointment matches the work you need.
When keeping the coat long needs another look
A tidy-up depends on the coat’s condition. Light tangles can be handled during the included brush-out. Tight mats need assessment before we agree to preserve the length.
We’ll explain what we find, discuss any additional coat work and get your approval for extra charges. Severe matting may require a shorter haircut instead.
A Yorkie’s first grooming visit
Ashley Galvez’s Yorkshire Terrier was almost four months old and having her first groom. Ashley had specific requests and described herself as particular about the result. In her Google review, she says Xiomara and the Coco’s team made her feel comfortable, and Xiomara did everything she asked. Ashley also shared before-and-after photos with her review.
