How Much Does Mobile Dog Grooming Cost in Broward County?
The million-dollar question: how much is it going to cost to groom my dog?
When a pet parent calls us with that question, I'll usually start by asking about the breed and weight. Then we'll talk about what their dog needs, because a bath for a little short-haired dog is a very different appointment from a full haircut on a curly coat with tangles to work through.
You should still be able to get a useful idea of the cost before you book. So let's talk about what mobile groomers charge here in Broward County, what you're getting for that price, and why the quote for your dog might look different from your neighbor's.

For a full groom, the Broward providers below advertise starting prices between $75 and $95. Larger dogs move into higher price brackets, and extra coat work can increase the total. Those figures give you somewhere to start; they aren't an average of what every pet parent actually pays.
If you'd like an estimate for your own dog while you read, you can use Coco's pricing calculator. It gives you a starting estimate based on the details you select.
What mobile groomers charge around Broward
Comparing grooming prices gets easier once you know what each price covers. Here are six businesses offering mobile grooming in Broward and the full-groom starting prices they publish.
| Mobile groomer | Full groom starts at | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Biscuits and Baths | $75 | Listed for dogs weighing 0–15 lb. |
| TLC Mobile Pet Grooming | $78 | Broward starting rate; a separate $5 fuel fee applies per appointment. The entry price doesn't specify a weight bracket. |
| Coco's Mobile Pet Grooming | $80 | Listed for dogs weighing 0–9 lb. |
| Huggies Grooming | $85 | Mobile full groom for dogs weighing 0–25 lb. |
| Dogi's Mobile Grooming | $95 | Small-dog full groom; the full-groom listing doesn't define the weight bracket. |
| Groom Waggin | $95 | Listed as sample starting pricing; contact the business for your dog's quote. |
Prices checked October 21, 2026. Each provider's inclusions, extra charges and service availability should be confirmed before booking.
Notice how "small" means something different depending on whom you call? A 12-pound dog falls into Coco's $85 bracket, even though our lowest advertised full-groom price is $80.
To make the comparison more useful, here's how two actual weights line up across three providers with published weight brackets:
| Dog's weight | Biscuits and Baths | Coco's | Huggies mobile |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12 lb | From $75 | From $85 | From $85 |
| 60 lb | From $140 | From $145 | From $100 |
These figures follow each business's weight brackets, before extra coat work or other applicable charges.
That's a better comparison than looking at the lowest number on each website. The next step is finding out what your dog needs and what's included.
Are you booking a bath, a tidy-up or a haircut?
This is worth sorting out before you compare quotes, because you could be asking two groomers for different appointments without realizing it.
A short-haired dog may need a good bath and brush-out, along with the everyday care that's easy to put off at home. Coco's Dog Bath & Blow Dry includes a warm, filtered-water bath with TropiClean shampoo selected for the coat, towel-drying followed by hand blow-drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, basic toothbrushing and a light sanitary trim.
If you like your dog's current haircut but the hair around the eyes and those scruffy feet need attention, that's where Partial Dog Grooming comes in. It includes bathing and hygiene care, with light trimming around the face and feet while the main body coat keeps its length.
For an all-over haircut and styling, you'd book Full Dog Grooming. That includes the bath and hygiene care, plus the body haircut and finishing around the face and feet.
For example, Coco's bath package for a dog weighing 10–20 pounds starts at $75, while the full groom starts at $85. If your dog needs a body haircut, make sure the price you're comparing includes it.
Why your dog's coat matters as much as the weight
Weight helps us get an estimate started, but it doesn't tell us everything about the appointment.
A thick coat can take much longer to dry and brush than a short, smooth one. Curly coats need careful preparation, and tangles can mean additional work before we can get to the haircut you have in mind.
That's why we ask about the breed, weight and coat condition when you call. We're trying to understand the work involved so the estimate is useful to you.
At Coco's, a $10–$20 curly-coat surcharge may apply. Take a 12-pound dog booked for a full groom: the starting price is $85. If the groomer assesses that the curly-coat charge applies, that example would come to $95–$105 before any other approved extras. It isn't an automatic charge for every curly dog.
When we arrive, the groomer looks through the coat and talks with you about anything that needs attention. Tell us about tangles, sensitive areas or anything your dog finds difficult. We can then agree on the work and price before grooming begins.

What the extra coat work involves
An additional charge should come with an explanation of what your groomer needs to do.
De-shedding can mean working through trapped undercoat with extra products, drying and brushing. De-matting involves more attention to tangled areas than the regular brush-out covers. Flea-and-tick treatment uses a separate treatment product and adds work to the appointment.
Coco's currently lists these add-on ranges:
| Additional service | Published price |
|---|---|
| De-shedding | $20–$30 |
| De-matting | $25–$35 |
| Flea & tick treatment | $25–$35 |
The groomer assesses what's needed and discusses the extra charge with you first.
Severe matting needs a closer conversation about what can be done comfortably. One appointment from years ago explains why.
The Husky appointment I still remember
We once groomed a Husky who had gone about six months without a bath. His coat was so tangled that parts of it had formed dreadlock-like mats, and his pet parent wanted us to keep as much length as possible.
There was a lot to work through. We used additional products and spent considerable time detangling and brushing. Some areas still needed trimming because we couldn't save all of the coat.
The appointment took four hours, with a $100 charge for the additional coat work on top of the grooming price.
That was an unusual appointment from years ago. The charge belongs to that particular case and shouldn't be confused with today's published de-matting range.
I bring it up because "a Husky who needs grooming" doesn't tell you nearly as much as seeing that Husky's coat. The breed and weight help us begin the conversation; the condition tells us what we're actually working with.
And keeping the length someone wants still depends on what the coat allows. That's something your groomer needs to discuss with you before starting.
Does mobile grooming cost more than going to a salon?

It can, although the difference may be smaller than you expect.
For a local example, Huggies in Pembroke Pines lists a full groom for a dog weighing 0–25 pounds from $75 at its salon and $85 through its mobile service. That's a $10 difference at the starting-price level.
With mobile grooming, the appointment comes to your home. At Coco's, we bring our own water and power, and grooming takes place inside the van. You save the trip to drop your dog off and the trip back to collect them.
How much that convenience matters depends on your day. If you're working from home, juggling school pickup or trying to avoid another car journey with your dog, it may make the appointment much easier to fit in.
There isn't one percentage you should expect every mobile groomer to charge above a salon. Compare quotes for your dog, with the same services included, and decide whether having the groomer come to you is worth the difference.
Will regular appointments help with the cost?
Keeping up with your dog's coat can mean less extra work at the next visit. If we're maintaining a coat that's already in good condition, there may be fewer tangles or less packed undercoat to deal with.
That doesn't mean regular appointments automatically earn a discount at Coco's, and it doesn't guarantee the same bill every time. It means we have a better chance of staying on top of the coat before a more involved appointment becomes necessary.
Ask your groomer what you can reasonably maintain at home and which haircut suits that routine. If you love a longer coat but struggle to keep it brushed through, have that conversation. We can talk about a look you'll enjoy living with between appointments, too.
