Milo is a goldendoodle with the kind of coat that hides everything, treats, twigs, and the occasional tangle he picks up running around the yard. His family loved how soft and fluffy he gets, but it had grown out past the point where a brush could keep up, and they were ready for a fresh start.
We talked through what they wanted before we touched the clippers. They still wanted Milo to look like a doodle, just shorter and easier to manage between visits. So we took the body down to a comfortable length, tidied up his face so he could actually see, cleaned out his ears, and shaped his paws so they stopped tracking in half the yard. By the time we finished, he looked like himself again, just a lot more put together and ready for cuddles on the couch.
